Pranshu Mihirbhai Jayswal is a first-generation college student and a Research Aide at the Children's Equity Project, where he leverages his expertise in data science, machine learning, and quantitative analysis to engineer and optimize large-scale datasets.
Pranshu is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering at Arizona State University. His academic training has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of advanced statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, information assurance & security through courses like Advanced Database Management Systems, Statistical Machine Learning, Information Assurance & Security and many more.
Pranshu's passion for using data-driven approaches to address societal challenges is evident in his ongoing project, "Improving Real-Time Risk Management and Reliability in Supply Chains using AI and Blockchain in the Healthcare Industry." Through this initiative, he is developing innovative AI and blockchain solutions to optimize real-time risk management in healthcare supply chains by 30%, ultimately improving access to essential resources for underserved communities.
His technical proficiency spans programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Java, as well as data analysis tools like Pandas, NumPy, and TensorFlow. Pranshu's professional experiences as a Contract Quantitative Analyst and Financial & Risk Management Analyst have further enriched his ability to conduct financial modeling, portfolio optimization, and risk management strategies. He has successfully collaborated with teams to achieve investment objectives, mitigate potential risks, and enhance portfolio returns, demonstrating his strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Pranshu is actively involved in various extracurricular activities and organizations, including the Sun Devil Stock Exchange, the Business and Professional Development Alliance, and the Machine Learning Club at ASU. These involvements have fostered his passion for continuous learning and applying data science to diverse domains.
